Citra Compatibility: Alpha Sapphire
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire runs excellently on Citra. Like its twin, it is lighter than the Alola titles, so modest PCs and older Android phones reach full speed. Expect a smooth ride from the first gym to the Delta Episode.
Dialing In Citra for Alpha Sapphire
- Set the graphics renderer to Hardware. Software mode works but is much slower than hardware rendering.
- Use 2x or 3x internal resolution on PC. On Android, 2x usually looks great without hurting speed.
- Turn on the hardware shader. It prevents most texture and lighting glitches.
- Enable audio stretching if the soundtrack stutters in busy areas.
