How New Leaf Plays on Citra

Animal Crossing: New Leaf runs perfectly on Citra. It is a light game, so even weak PCs and older Android phones reach full speed. The real-time clock syncs with your system, so daily events work as intended.

Citra Settings for New Leaf

  1. Set the graphics renderer to Hardware for smooth visuals.
  2. Use 2x internal resolution on PC. The colorful town looks great scaled up.
  3. Turn on the hardware shader. It keeps the town lighting correct.
  4. Keep your system clock accurate. New Leaf’s events depend on real time.
